Not sure why we should care now, but since you went to the trouble of posting his outrage a couple of points off the top.

Neale takes particular exception to the remark that the people in Gaza lack freedom of movement, arguing that there are 100,000 work permits. 1) It is hard to argue that a work permit is equivalent to freedom of movement and 2) there are 2,000,000 Palestinians in Gaza, the reader will think - are work permits for 5% of the population - or if Neale argues that half of the 2,000,000 are children, then 10% of the population have work permits, equals freedom of movement.

Neale states - 'Israel is only attacking military sites' - obviously a false statement. We see the videos every day. The reader will state - the Israeli's told the Palestinians to go south - then bombed and rocketed the refugee camp in the south where the Palestinians went.

Not sure about Neale's expertise on the Jewish occupation of Palestine in 1200 BCE, but color me skeptical. And not sure what the Assyrians have to do with anything. But Neale leaves out the Persians, the Romans, and the Babylonians, so a head scratcher additions to his diatribe.

A Bible reader might point out to Neale that the reason the Bible gives for the Babylonian invasion of Judah (as opposed to Israel) was Judah turning to Egypt for protection. Assyria, after conquering Israel, was conquered by the Babylonians.

But Neale probably knows his Biblical history.
